Meet Lyle the Indian Country Chatbot!
In December 2024, Talking Circle (formerly Verified News Network) began development of Lyle, an AI-powered chatbot to combat misinformation and disinformation targeting Native communities.
In collaboration with Crosswinds News and led by a dedicated team of Native and Native-ally professionals, this innovative tool aims to provide Indigenous information and culturally respectful insights.
All sources used to train this chatbot were produced by Indigenous-led companies, organizations and departments, and/or produced by Indigenous people. All sources were also obtained with permission.
