Amber Alert issued after child taken from casino parking lot

(MCCLAIN COUNTY, Okla.) UPDATE: Authorities say the child in Wednesday morning's Amber Alert has been found safe. The stolen vehicle was also recovered.

ORIGINAL STORY: An Amber Alert has been issued for a 10-year-old boy who authorities say was taken from the Newcastle Casino early Wednesday morning.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol say Jaxson Brokopp is a white child last seen wearing black shorts and light blue polo shirt.

We're told his mother left him in the car while she went into the casino. He and the vehicle were taken just before 4:30 a.m.

The suspect is described as a white male with sandy blonde/red hair wearing a lime green Nike shirt rolled up to his elbows as black pants.

The vehicle is a 2016 black Lincoln MKX, Oklahoma license plate BUH868.

Anyone with information should call 911.
