UPDATE: Troopers said Carlos A. Escoto, 61, of Garland, Texas, was driving a semi north on Interstate 35 when he left the roadway for an unknown reason and hit another semi that was parked on the outside shoulder of the highway. Both semis caught fire. Escoto died at the scene.
