Man killed walking south of Davis

(MURRAY COUNTY, Okla.) Troopers said a man is dead after being hit by an SUV early Sunday morning. It happened around 2:30 a.m.

We’re told Jason Derek Antwon Davis, 21, of Sulphur, was walking north in the road on US-77 a few miles south of Davis in Murray County when he was hit.

The driver told troopers he did not see Davis, who was dressed in dark clothes.

Davis was pronounced dead at the scene.

The wreck remains under investigation.
