Grand Rapids fireworks show taking place July 2nd

(GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.) The City of Grand Rapids announced that the Independence Day Celebration featuring fireworks will take place this Saturday, July 2nd.

It will kick of at Ah-Nab-Awen Park downtown at 6:00 with food and vendors.

There will also be live entertainment organized by Riverbank Events and Media.

The fireworks will start at 10:30 p.m.

“The City of Grand Rapids is proud to once again support the annual fireworks event downtown,”  said City Manager Mark Washington. “Community events such as this add to our city’s vibrancy. We are excited to be a part of this great community celebration that is free, accessible and fun for all.”

The fireworks celebration is being sponsored by Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort.
