Broken Arrow child drowns on Lake Eufaula

(MCINTOSH COUNTY, Okla.) A nine-year-old child drowned at the Eufaula Cove on Lake Eufaula Saturday night. It happened just after 8 p.m. Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the boy had been sitting on a swim platform of a boat, then stood up and fell in. We’re told his body was recovered by the Eufaula Fire Department in 12 foot of water.
