Tulsa woman killed in Payne County wreck

(PAYNE COUNTY, Okla.) Troopers said Jazmen Aryes Shaw, 21, of Tulsa, was killed a half mile north of Stillwater Tuesday afternoon. We’re told the crash happened just after 3 p.m. on US-177 and Lake McMurtry Road. Troopers said Shaw was driving west on Lake McMurtry Road when she failed to stop at a stop sign and was hit by driver headed north on US-177. Shaw was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle, Berna Dineo Heilmann, 58, of Red Rock, was taken to a local hospital and then transferred to OU Medical Center. He is expected to survive. The wreck remains under investigation.
