Two teens arrested for Broken Arrow’s first homicide
(BROKEN ARROW, Okla.) Broken Arrow Police arrested 15-year-old Ja'Cori Whitmore (not pictured) Tuesday in connection to the death of a 16-year-old boy in the 1400 Block of West Trenton last month.
15-year-old Ky'Leigh Shaw (pictured) was arrested last week.
Both teens face charges of 1st Degree Murder and are being charged as adults.
Officers responded to a call about an unresponsive male in the roadway on January 24. When they arrived, the discovered the unnamed teen victim with a gunshot wound.
We’re told officers and EMS rendered medical aid, but he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
BAPD thanked the United States Marshals Northern Oklahoma Violent Crimes Task force for their assistance with the arrests.
