Two Wynnewood children killed in wreck

(GARVIN COUNTY, Okla.) A nine-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl died in a wreck east of Pauls Valley Saturday morning. Troopers said it happened at the intersection of County Road ‪1570 and County Road‬ 3300 just before noon. Edward K. Peters, 37, of Wynnewood was driving the vehicle the children were in. He was taken to an Oklahoma City hospital in fair condition. Fallon F. Peters, 35, Wynnewood, was also taken to an Oklahoma City hospital in fair condition. The boy died at an Oklahoma City hospital. The girl died at the scene. The driver of the second vehicle involved in the wreck, William A.D. Patchell, 22, of Pauls Valley, was driven to a local hospital, treated and released. Troopers are still investigating what happened.
