(TISHOMINGO, Okla.) A Native American woman is dead after a hit-and-run in Johnston County Thursday.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the fatal collision happened just before 4:30 a.m. on US-377, seven miles north of Tishomingo.
We're told an unknown vehicle was traveling south when it hit 46-year-old Carla Johnson and kept going without stopping.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation.
